Jan has been a REALTOR in Iowa City since 1989 and received her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation in 1993 and her ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) in 1997. Prior to real estate, she was employed by uniBank and Hills Bank & Trust Company in Coralville, and graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors in Business Administration. She is a lifelong resident of Iowa and has resided in Coralville since 1979. Jan and her husband, Tom, also own Vrban Fire Protection, Inc. They have 2 grown children, Jon, Sara, a son-in-law David and a grandaughter Isabella. Jan is active in the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS, Grace Community Church and was a member of the Coralville Planning and Zoning Commission for 7 years.
