Kevin joined Lepic-Kroeger in 1983 and has been a partner since 1987. He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees in English from the University of Iowa and taught literature and composition for 14 years before entering the real estate profession. He has been a member of the Iowa City Historic Preservation Commission and the Iowa City Public Art Committee and currently the President of the Summer of the Arts Organization. He has also served on the Board of Directors for United Action for Youth, The Greater Iowa City Housing Fellowship, United Way Allocations, Iowa City Artsfest and has been active with Emergency Housing Project, Iowa City Kickers and Scouting.
Kevin was a member of the Iowa City Area Association of Realtors Board of Directors and served as President in 1999-2000 and received the Distingished Service Award in 2002. Kevin's wife Patricia is employed by ACT as a project manager for the National Board of Bar Examiners. They have three sons: Riley, Conor, and Emmet.
Kevin Hanick was voted "Most Distinguished Service Award" in 2002 by the Iowa City Area Association of Realtors.
