Jan has been a REALTOR in Iowa City since 1989 and received her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation in 1993 and her ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) in 1997. Many of her clients have become friends thus most of her business if done by word of mouth. She is always willing to answer questions and help friends, past clients and referrals with any real estate needs they might have.
Prior to real estate, she was employed by uniBank and Hills Bank & Trust Company in Coralville, and graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors in Business Administration. She is a lifelong resident of Iowa and has resided in Coralville since 1979.
Jan and her husband, Tom, also own Vrban Fire Protection, Inc., an automatic fire sprinkler company in Coralville. They have 2 grown children, Jon and Sara, a son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Jessica, and 4 grandchildren, Isabella, Annalise, Winston and Isaac. All of whom she adores. They are the joy in her life.
Jan is active in her church, Genesis in North Liberty, and The Big White House in Coralville. She loves to spend time with family and friends, travel, watch movies, read books when she has time.
