Kay has practiced real estate for over 25 years, with the majority of those years being at Lepic-Kroeger Realtors. In 2004 she became a broker owner of Lepic-Kroeger, and is very proud of the company's continued commitment to serving the people of the greater Iowa City area. She considers herself fortunate to be in real estate, and have the opportunity to help people make some of the biggest decisions of their lives. Whether helping first time buyers find the home of their dreams, assisting people who are relocating to or from the area, or working for repeat clients, Kay enjoys all the exciting and interesting aspects of real estate. In order to facilitate the buying and/or selling process for her clients, Kay works with her business partner, Stephanie Eenhuis, and their assistant, Natasha Wendt. Kay has lived in Iowa City since 1967, when she arrived to pursue graduate studies in music. In addition to music, Kay and her husband, Mace, enjoy travel, cooking, entertaining, gardening and reading. Kay has two children, Natasha, who is her licensed assistant, and Eric, who is a chef in Chicago . Kay also has four step-children. Kay also values community involvement and has participated in several civic organizations, including serving as the current President-Elect of the Advisory Board for the Dean of the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
